JUNIOR EMPIRE WEST COAST

Having rebranded from The Mispers into new set up Junior Empire, 'West Coast' is the band's first single under the new moniker and is a huge opening statement for the five piece. A larger than life indie tune bleached with the sunny vibes of California, the song is influenced by some of the band relocating to L.A and their experiences of the city as new singletons. The band's opening vocals have something 'Jamie T' about them but when the three-piece harmonies kick in, Junior Empire put their own stamp on indie. An anthemic crowd pleaser, this one was meant for continuous radio play. - SJ
